லெந்து காலத்தின் பதிமூன்றாம் நாள் தியானம்
திருமறைப் பகுதி: தூய யோவான் 14:18-21
இயேசு தங்களுக்காக மீண்டும் வருவார் என்பது சீடர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த ஆறுதலளிக்கும் செய்தி. தொடர்ந்து தன்னுடைய உயித்தெழுதலின் விளைவாக சீடருக்கு ஜீவனை வாக்களிக்கிறார் (வசனம் 19). மேலும் பிதா, குமாரன் சீடர்களிடையே ஒரு பினைப்பானது கீழ்ப்படிதல், அன்பு மற்றும் உறவின்
(வச. 20-21) அடிப்படியிலே இருப்பதைக் காணலாம். முடிவாக இந்த
அன்பு-பணிவு வளையத்தில் சிக்குண்ட சீடருக்கு குமாரன் சிறப்பாகத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்.
இனிய தங்கை / தம்பி, இறைவனோடு இப்படி நீ உறவிலே சிக்குண்ட நிலையை உன்னால் நினைத்துப்பார்க்க முடிகிறதா? இந்த் உறவிலே இருக்கும் கொடுக்கல் வாங்கல் புரிகிறதா? உனக்குக்கிடைப்பது கடவுளுடன் உறவு, கடவுளின் அன்பு மற்றும் இயேசுவை அதிகம் புரிந்துகொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பு.
நீ கொடுப்பது என்ன? ஆண்டவரை நேசித்து அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தாலே போதும்.
ஜெபம்:
இயேசுவே, நான் உம்மோடு இருப்பதற்காக உமது அன்பின் வளையத்திற்குள் என்னை வைத்துக்கொள்ளும். எனக்கு உம்மைக் காட்டும். பிதாவின் அன்பையும் எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தும்.
இயேசுவின் பதில்…….
குழந்தாய், நீ, நான், நம் பிதா மற்றும் உன்னைப்போன்ற ஏனைய மக்கள் நாம் அனைவரும் ஒன்றாய் இருந்து பிதாவை மகிமைப்படுத்துவோம். நாமும் கூடிமகிழ்வோம்.
Devotion for the thirteenth day in Lent
Read John 14:18-21
What a great consolation for the disciples to know Jesus was coming back for them. There is a promise of life that emanates from his resurrection (19). This is followed by an interesting tangle of love, obedience (21) and fellowship (20) between the Father, Son and the disciples. Finally there also is a unique manifestation to the one who is caught up in this love-obedience bond. Jesus ends the passage saying, “I shall manifest myself to him.” He/she gets to see the son of God in all his glory and majesty.
Dear sister / brother! Can you imagine yourself caught up in this “tangle with the divinity”? There is mutual giving and receiving in this interweaving relationship. What do you get out of this? You get cohabitation with God, love of God and a greater understanding of Jesus. What do you have to offer? You just love God and obey Him.
Prayer:
Jesus I want to be with you. Wrap me with your circle of love and reveal more of you and the love of God the father.
Jesus might say…..
My child, join me and our Father along with other people of God to glorify the Father by our unity. We shall rejoice in this unity.
